I'm attaching a snapshot of a dyno run carried on the 1.0 t-gdi, and also inserting the link to a video that I found online of this guy maxing out his Venue. You can see how the gears shift in this video.

In the image where the output is recorded shows the car name as i30 , different image maybe ? Or just displayed because both car uses the same engine ?

The i30 captured here uses the same engine in the same state of tune as the Venue in India. This engine is used in multiple Hyundais internationally.

@TeamBHP: Please give us the official car review for the Hyundai Venue..
It has been more than 3 months now!

Came accross this youtube video claiming Venue will soon come in the 1.6 L diesel BS6 compliant avatar and the 1.4 L will be discontinued by april 2020.. any confirmation/refutation. Will the other fuel options renain same ? https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=...&v=1xnyu5cc71o
( i hope i am not infringing any tbhp rule by posting the YouTube link here ?)

Right and wrong.

1.4 discontinued: confirmed

1.6 engine: nope

There will be only one diesel engine from Hyundai in the future. The 1.5 in the Kia Seltos.

Venue and the i20 will get it with an FGT (fixed geometry turbo), whereas the Creta and the Verna will get it with a 115 BHP VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo), like the Kia Seltos.

Thanks ! i am interested in the 1 litre SX+ Auto (T-GDI/DCT/Petrol). Its engine type is spanking new in Indian Market and would probably not be changed for some years to come.

(Sour point in this option - lack of 6 airbags even though its one below the top end :Frustrati)

Seen a number of Venues on road till date, one glance and one can tell that the car is smaller compared to other CSUVs but the car perfectly suits the requirements of the urban folks. In my books all CSUVs are hatchbacks butched up to tackle the pothole filled city roads.

If I am in the market for a new car, my considerations will be Venue, Ecosport, and Nexon. It will be a hard choice between them.

I think Venue is going to be the new leader of the segment.

Mod Note: Our Venue Report has been taken live at this link. Please continue the discussion over on the new thread. Thanks!

please: Has anybody thought of or attached a rooftop carrier to a Venue yet ? Am replacing my Duster with it ..and can't digest the reduced boot space.
