a full colour head-up display.
Optional extras, I am not sure if they will even allow extras beyond a certain value as the rules for lower custom duty @ 60 % are for 2 Ltr engines & maximum CIF 40000 USD.

S is 86,71 whereas SE is decently loaded and comes at around 94.

This makes the fully loaded CKD Velar feel VFM. The Velar would cost approx 80 OTR Mumbai. A similar spec RR sport would cost 40 lakhs more OTR, that’s nearly 50% extra.

Moreover, the performance is same. The Velar with 50bhp less hits the ton in 7 seconds which is at par with this heavier RR sport.

So besides the badge and bit more on the size, why would someone pick this over the Velar?
Cannibalisation at it’s best.

You're right, pretty much just snob value. If you look at base prices the Velar at 72.47 ex-showroom and the Sport at 86.71 ex-showroom, at that price range the even I'd take the bigger Rover just for the badge.
