re: Ford deletes features from the EcoSport Titanium+ variant

This is really disappointing. Losing some very important features on the top end is just a big no. If anything, they should have added features, not remove it.
I wonder how it is that it was possible for them to reduce the price of S by nearly 60k without removing any feature, while they had to remove so many good features from T+ to bring the price down by ~40k? Also, the dual tone interior looks so cheap IMO. The product planning team at Ford India needs to be fired.

I think from now on, Nexon would be the top pick in this segment from my side, unless Tata goes ahead and removes some more features.

re: Ford deletes features from the EcoSport Titanium+ variant

Just got a message from Ford that the feature removal is not applicable for Ti+ AT. Also sent a copy of the notice from the Ford Marketing VP explaining this.

Would you be able to share it here? All brochures and website have been changed yesterday and there's no such information.

Wow!

That was quick! Unbelievable! Obviously this wasn't planned well so now we will have another updated price coming for AT tomorrow, and hopefully AT variant will have all the key features intact instead of useless sunroof.

re: Ford deletes features from the EcoSport Titanium+ variant

I am confused, I was looking at the brochure and it looks like the sunroof is now
available in the Titanium+ AT. Is it correct?

They downgraded the alloys from 17" to 16" on the S variant.

As per the letted shared by the Ford exec, Titanium+AT has no feature changes. The brochure has the correct info about the MT variant.

Ford EcoSport Titanium+ loses some features

As per information I received from dealer here in Bangalore, Titanium+ AT will continue to be available as existed before the Thunder struck. Which means it will have Cruise control/Sync3 and no sunroof.

OTR is 14.09 (down from 14.4). Ex-showroom is 11.08 (same as what was already published few days back in website).

Hope the information is correct! If everything falls in place, I am looking to book this Sunday.

Looks like a 'Going, going, gone...' or 'The Last Hurrah' edition of the Ecosport! It's just a matter of time when the Ford branding will be removed altogether from the Indian market! Doesn't augur well for consumer confidence!

Website never showed proper features after the update. Even now it continues to show cruise control/sync 3 etc for titanium+ although brochure was updated. Obviously this AT thing wasn't planned apparently so only they know why it's removed now! May be to update the pricing?

Actually it did. I checked the website after this hoopla on new EcoSport and found Sync3 and cruise control missing from Titanium+AT along with other features too. I think Ford India is updating the webpage with AT details. As of now, no AT variant is listed.
