Ok, I "Totally" agree that dung cools the car.

But what is with Bonnet and Bumper?!!!

Is it a Tdci-Ver-1 car

That is a proper CUV (Cow Urine Vehicle)!

We already have cow dung cake available on amazon. Now we may see fresh cow dung (and free same day or one day delivery for prime members) soon. Good time for cattle farmers as they may make more money from selling cow dung than milk.

I doubt the authenticity of the Article here.
The person in question here does own the XUV that has been coated (as per Vaahan database), but his credentials as a 'Senior Doctor' i am not sure about.
A quick google search shows that he has run in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections from Maval, and from this source, it seems his educational qualifications are 'BSC, MD (E.H) BEMS ND Kolhapur University' and current profession is 'Tata Memo Realty Kharghar New Mumbai'.
Given this information, i'd consider this a case of attention seeking and leave it at that.

The efforts by the concerned individual are really appreciated. We should be glad that an internet renowned scientist has adopted ancient technologies to modern use and soon we might have a new industry / startup that will challenge the EV segment . It could be the dawn of a new industry where cow dung is used to coat the vehicle and when a vehicle runs out of oil, the same cow dung can be used to power the vehicle. This fuel source will be readily available as cows are everywhere and we love any s..t that is available free. The days of people collecting dung from the roads and using it to fuel their vehicular and personal needs will come soon.

The startup might also achieve international fame or is it that the concerned individual has already achieved fame which was the original intention.
It seems that earlier the nation was going to the d..s and now we have the holy cow as our savior of all ills.

Sorry for going offtopic. Mods please excuse.

Jokes apart, gaumutra and cow dung and their benefits to plants and organic farming are very well documented. It also has use in lot of other cases. Gaumutra and the cow itself have religious connotation for the majority religion in India.

Coming to wrapping your car with cow dung and its heat issues and catching fire issues:

99% of vinyl wraps that many here drool upon in various threads are unsafe at temperatures above 30 C.

At any given time, the temperature of a car body can be 50-60 C when kept in the tropical sun for a few minutes.

So, a couple of vehicles coated with cow dung in a country of 1.3 billion is far more safe then the absolute idiot next to you in his vinyl wrapped car in the present Delhi heat of 40+ C. Which many here don't think is as hazardous or worse.

@ValarMorghulis - Agreed, in fact we can also look it at from another angle, i.e. there are always gullible people, who worry about certain patterns emerging, and subconsciously look for such patterns (even if its 2 people, among the billion plus folks). Any such news makes many of them fall into the trap, and the proclamation starts "..where the country/society/mankind etc etc. is heading.." !! This, coupled with the fact that there are always folks looking for cheap publicity, ensures that there's enough supply of such weird news items !!

As an example, in Mewat area (near GGN), you can sometime see goats/sheep being transported in Scorpio/Safari (I've seen this myself). In fact there was a news sometime back about police catching someone there, with a modified Scorpio, used for smuggling buffalo/cows(no idea how's that even possible) !! Only thing is that none of it was picked up by a national newspaper/TV channel, otherwise we'd have been busy worrying about direction of some entity (country/society etc.)

No offenses to anyone please, I fully respect your opinion and thought of expressing mine too

I am now waiting for 3M to offer this as a proper service - Cow-dung-wrap for better heat-protection.

On a serious note - The color of the vehicle is now unrecognizable due to the "wrap". RTO officials should trace the doctor and issue a challan for illegal modification. That's the only way such stunts would stop.

Interesting; waste would start to cost On a serious note, there have been many applications where it can be useful. e.g.

It will keep the occupants warm. Cow dung has magical properties which has been lost to us due to rampant westernisation, it's only in recent years we recognized our ancient wisdom. I'm hopeful in another decade we would have retrieved every forgotten knowledge and we will become a super power.

Cow dung is just the tip of the iceberg. We had cloning, aeroplane technology, missiles with different warheads. The western conquerors and the Mongol invaders has put us at least one millennia behind. We must now seize the moment and rise again.

I for one think the good doctor missed a trick here. He would have received more social "likes" and validation had he retained the original pattern as shown in the picture below.

"Doctor" might be currently researching how to use Cow's flatulence gases as refrigerant for his car's airconditioner. Next level innovation :-)

The next iteration to this will be mixing it with waterproof adhesive like Fevicol marine so that it has no impact of water.

The other point is we can say goodbye to the daily washing guy. No need to clean the car while lot of people loosing job.
