![]() The 1.0 TGDi variant would surely make it since even the cheaper Aura has it now and the Grand i10 is expected to get this variant soon.

i20 N is expected to compete with Polo GTi and Ford Fiesta ST globally and 200hp is a minimum requirement. As Hyundai's 1.6L TGDI has been already deployed in that state of tune, it's the logical choice, considering they won't have different engines on same N cars in different markets.

| ![]() Saw this test mule near Madhya Kailash Chennai. At the looks of it, I presume this is next-gen i20. |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() Yes. I believe - i20 will most likely get the 1.0 TGDi in the top-end variant with the 118hp, 172Nm state of tune as in the Venue, to differentiate it against the Aura / Nios which has 100hp, 175Nm instead. |

| ![]() Hopefully, with the DCT transmission and a 6 speed manual rather than the 5 speed in its younger siblings. |

| ![]() Human eyes are accustomed to see gauges/dials move in a linear or clockwise direction. I just hate this trend of form over function. |
