The Amaze Ace Edition is based on the top-spec VX trim and is available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines paired with either CVT or manual transmissions. It is available in three colour options - Radiant Red, Lunar Silver and White Orchid Pearl..

The Amaze Ace Edition comes with black alloy wheels, black spoiler, door visors, door edge garnish and Ace Edition badge on the boot lid. On the inside, the car gets black seat covers with Ace Edition badges and footwell lighting.

Powertrain options are the same as the standard Amaze. These include a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which makes 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque @ 4,800 rpm and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel with 99 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm. Both engines come paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Both petrol and diesel engines get a continuously variable transmission (CVT) option. However, the diesel CVT gets a de-tuned 1.5-litre engine that puts out 79 BHP and 160 Nm of torque.

Variant-wise ex-showroom prices:

Petrol MT - Rs. 7,89,200

Petrol CVT - Rs. 8,72,200

Diesel MT - Rs. 8,99,200

Diesel CVT - Rs. 9,72,200

I understand that diesel CVT was de-tuned at time of launch, has it been bumped up and brought at par with diesel MT?

No, the power is not bumped up. The power was reduced for a reason i.e. to reduce the CVT gearbox sluggishness.

I am aware of the reason of power reduction in diesel CVT.

The error needs a correction in the initial post. The bhp & torque figures for diesel CVT should be appropriately presented since they are not at par with diesel MT.
