I stand corrected, it seems there was indeed a Dualjet version codenamed K10C in UK's Celerio. Pic from their old Brochure:



For the first time I'm witnessing this, same engine code but different engines entirely within Suzuki range.

I spotted an ad shoot of the new Maruti Celerio taking place in Pune.

Only managed to get pictures of the rear. Sorry for the quality, they are heavily cropped, taken from far away.

The vehicle has a redesigned rear. I am guessing they are gearing up for a launch for the festive season.

They are going to launch after Diwali actually. I am not sure but usually when car is officially launched with prices and all, will I be able to walk into a Maruti showroom and check it out? We are eyeing the new celerio if it ticks all boxes (I know it will not be Tata Safe) but as a first car, we are looking for Maruti and may change car once we have got matured enough for driving. It will be a local use car only.

Usually with Maruti the test drive cars will reach dealership before launch and will be available straight away after launch, and as per my understanding Maruti does the launch in one go i.e prices will be announced during launch event itself.

In case any one is wondering, the location is Magarpata, Pune. Roundabout of Aditi Gardens at centre and IT companies in the circle.

Magarpatta shows up in many ads and movies like Rajnikantgs’s Sivaji, The Boss.

Car may be aimed for IT crowd in general.

Within Suzuki, for the same K10 or K12 engines, there are various variants. For K12, there is a 1148cc version , there is a 1200cc+ version etc. The booster jet engine comes with the DITC moniker. Also, for K10 engine, there are K10B, K10C etc as well which have various changes for fuel economy upgrades.

I don't think so. It should be priced close to or lower than Wagon-R. Imagine it as a Global Alto.
