Left Hand Drive model with what looks like Passenger Side Airbag. Obviously for exports, probably for the South Africans.

This is getting better and better..

Thanks for the pics... Mostly test cars are camouflauged... this one aint... Might be that, the lauch is imminent...
How come one wheel white and one wheel black???

Is the car left hand drive???
It is na??? If so... this might be for the european markets... :(

However... I think there is already a thread on indica DiCOR... Mods might merge the threads

Great find once again...

Nice find. I think it's time for a new dashboard. This airbag integration scheme is quite ugly.

You should move to Germany. Lot of money for people like you.

Thanks for the correction ajmat because I've driven in that country....just that they are probably one of the largest export markets for Tata.

I wonder where they sell LHD - Spain and Italy?

At Auto-Expo where TATA showed Indica with ABS & Airbags the gaps between dashboard and airbag module were huge like almost a full size cockroach can go in and out

Dont think so. This is not where they park their test cars.

If the exterior and interior continue to look like that in the Indian Dicor Indica, all the hard work by Tata in dicorization will come to nought. If they're expecting Indian buyers to fork out 5 lakhs, the car better look/feel more upscale than its model-mates

i guess tata will not phase out current model of indica. the will sell this indica with dicor engine. and all new 2008 Indica (Based on Tata Indiva Concept) will sell with Fiat 1.3 multijet engine.

Tushky thats a nice find.Although this is a LHD model, the dicor for the indian indica/indigo can be expected in the near future is what I feel.Tata may just wait a little while to gauge its competitors success with modern diesel engines and the pricing strategy they adopt.

If you mean the RVM with the reflection, it's the one on Tushky's bike.

Do have any pics of that? The only conceptualization of the 08 Indica is what I'd seen on Overdrive www sometime back - it looks like a Swift competitor
