What to say ! The front of actual car looks exactly like a Photoshop rendered image.

A blaupunkt head unit on a 80 lac car? Looks similar to Osaka model. Something doesnot look alright.

Boy if those headlights are LED (and they sure are) - god save us. People are as always going to drive on high beams and these multiple headlights are going to bore holes in my retina...

Considering the Innova's pricing, an 80L price seems "low". They should price it upward of 1 Cr Ex showroom :D.

The Blaupunkt system takes the cake for me. They could have given an unbranded / HyperSonic android system too.

^^^

These are 2019 MY vehicles and were given to Dealership Principals. Customers will be getting 2020 MY around March/ April. Those cars will have an upgraded Audio system, as well as a central roof-mounted HD display for rear passengers.

In relative news, Mercedes is launching the updated V-Class

Grand Carnival will retail at 1/3 the price of this and they belong to different segments.

75 lacs?!! I rode in one in KL and didn't find anything exceptional that would justify this kind of money. Vellfire is a beauty though!

The cost is rumored at ₹ 80L Ex-S and on road may nudge around ₹ 1 crore or more. Comes as CBU only in the top spec trim and a petrol hybrid at that.

I wonder if the Vellfire will be a popular choice with Politicians. They already roam around in Prados and Fortuners and this will be way more comfortable. Plus there's the Toyota reliability and the much plusher cabin.

Honestly, if you'd ask me, I'd have this over a V Class. Sure, the chrome is too tacky and it doesn't look very nice but it still seems to be a compelling option to the boat called V Class which doesn't even get sunshades for 70 lakhs(no offence intended).

Cheers!

If Carnival is a hit, I'll eat my hat. Kia is making a mistake with this car. Seltos gains will be lost.

Here are the actual pictures for the 2019 vehicles given to Dealership principals. These will be used for RTO formalities as well as test drives to potential customers.

The ground clearance of the vehicle seems to be pretty low, and this is obviously a really LONG wheelbase with a big rear overhang. Hope Toyota makes appropriate adjustments here and ensures the vehicle doesn’t scrape every now and then. This is a basic point for every touring or long distance vehicle

Just saw one at Toyota dealership in Mumbai, looks boxy but gigantic. IMO it's going to cater to super niche and will clock half volumes than CAMRY. Maybe Toyota should have bought in a model which is priced closer to Crysta than Vellfire.
