The third-generation BMW X6 has been spotted testing in India. The SUV was spied in Gurgaon, Haryana.

The new BMW X6 was unveiled earlier this month. The SUV features a coupe-like exterior styling and measures 4,935 mm in length, 2,004 mm in width and 1,696 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,975 mm. It gets a large, illuminated kidney grille at the front flanked by twin-pod LED headlights. At the rear, it comes with slim, wraparound LED tail lights and a dual-tone bumper with integrated reflectors and chrome exhaust tips.

On the inside, the new X6 gets a dual-tone interior with two 12.3-inch displays. The xLine and M Sport variants get all-black interiors. Some of the features offered in the X6 include a 360-degree camera, active cruise control, collision and pedestrian warning system with city braking function, lane keeping and lane changing assistant, traffic jam and emergency stop assistant.

These include a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol unit developing 335 BHP, a 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine producing 523 BHP and a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel motor producing either 261 BHP and 620 Nm of torque or 395 BHP and 760 Nm of torque. All engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Good scoop by RushLane .

The only thing weirder than BMW's new grille design is illuminating them, and then slapping it onto the weird X6 body-style.

This car has been my guilty love, the Goth girlfriend ever since she came out. The amount of presence is unmatched while on the road or parked at a hotel porch. That grille, though. :(

This has to be one of the most useless vehicle sold currently.
Its basically a very big hatch on stilts. Really good for nothing, nor off road nor on bends. It makes even the Cayenne look beautiful.
If that body shape was not hideous enough, with that ungainly grill and now illuminated makes this one of the worst looking things on roads today.

I fell in love with the older generation when I saw it in Tuticorin airport doing insane speeds on a rutted field with a huge dust cloud behind it.
But then again, I like the Volvo S60 cross country and Lamborgini Steratto too.

2020 BMW X6 Vantablack is painted in the worlds blackest black

Vantablack VBx2 absorbs more than 99 percent of light and tricks our brains into seeing, well, nothing. It's an old article that I came across. This was supposed to be shown at last year's Frankfurt Auto Show.

Few pieces available for a while with BMW India. M Sports is expected to be priced around 95-97 lac. The other variant will be a little cheaper. Options are limited and basic. X5 is far better configured due to CKD.

However, X6 gets illuminating Grill & looks far better over an X5.

The illuminated grille is a party trick when unlocking the car -

Seriously overdone though!

I can not vouch for other cities, but there are many of these around South Delhi and Gurgaon. Amongst the X6 / X4 / GLC Coupe / GLE Coupe / Cayenne Coupe, the GLE43 AMG is an outright favourite with the rich and famous it seems.

You would be surprised to see the number of GLE43 AMGs around NCR if you flip through the pages of the Delhi supercars thread - https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super...delhi-465.html

I was briefly in Chandigarh some time last year. Saw three GLE43 AMGs within a span of 3-4 hours, and a GLC43 AMG as well which belongs to a famous Bollywood actor. Although I couldn't click the GLEs but I managed to click the actor's GLC43. Pics here - https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super...ml#post4639152 (Supercars & Imports : Chandigarh)

I wonder, who and why would one chose the xLine over the M-Sport for the same price?

Found these marketing materials online, here you go -

X-Line gets Air Suspension as standard whereas it's a paid option on the M Sports. It gets Adaptive M. Air Suspension costs around Rs 2,25 Lac.

But, Yes, M-Sports appear to be a better value. I checked the car in person, the front is more like an X5, it's the Rear which has a lot of elements. It does look massive & different, which is what people want in this segment. But, everyone may not like it as it's not very clean, unlike past generations.

Interiors are similar to X5 and frankly, I don't like the quality of the leather on seats nor the artificial Sensatec leather they use on door trims and dashboard.
