It is better not to take risk. I think most of the Chinese companies pavilion will be manned/handled by their Indian counterpart.

Tata Motors is about to reveal something big. Look carefully at the caption, I personally think they are teasing Sierra or the Safari. Probably in an EV avatar much like Ford gave Mustang one.

Just came across this article which says that entry of Chinese flyers has been temporarily suspended. For those who are coming to India due to unavoidable circumstances will have to contact the concerned authorities. So I think the authorities will be monitoring the movement of the Chinese flyers in the country and will take adequate measures, such as scanning for presence of corona virus in those who will be allowed to come here.

Chinese personnel who were to visit the Defence Expo have had their visas cancelled. So the Chinese delegation has dropped out of the DefExpo. I think the authorities will do the same for the Auto Expo. There is a temporary travel ban on people from China and people who have visited China last few days.
