Hyundai SA here in Bangalore more or less confirmed that the 2019 facelift won't make it to India, even if it did, they will rip off all radar based safety systems, just how they are doing for 2019 elantra and price it higher than the outgoing model. The top end Tucson is going for 34 lakhs OTR Bangalore before discounts. The 2019 model will touch 36 Lakhs easily.

Whoever is designing the grilles for all the new Hyundais need to take a jump into the ocean. Utterly distasteful designs. My personal opinion but I am sure a majority of the members will have a similar mindset.

I feel with all those pointy edges in the front and back (across all Hyundai 2020 models), it reminds me of Trasnformers. Some one is a big fan of those movies in the design team.

Glad that Hyundai did not follow the design direction they did with the new Creta and even the new Verna. This new Tucson is quite fresh and clean. The overall shape and form is quite similar to the existing one, but the front looks dramatically different. And im sure Hyundai will go all out in making the interior feature rich and class leading in most aspects. They just need to make it more accessible in India, probably try and pitch this against the Compass.
