Maruti Suzuki posts sales of 18,539 units in May-20 as domestic sales decline by 89%.

Although dropping numbers in car sales and also the poll (Has the current situation changed your car buying plans of 2020-21?) suggests that the situations is deteriorating, the news articles like this are also suggesting expected rise in the usage of personal transport in near future.

On one side the existing car owners might refrain from replacement, but number of first time buyers would increase due to paranoia.

Ofcourse this is a 'never before' kind of economic situation; but what is the take of fellow BHPians on this? Would automotive market stabilize sooner?
