| ![]() Few changes with respect to Chinese Ix25: - panoramic sunroof in Creta 2020 but not in ix25 - no huge 10 inch touch screen in Creta 2020 like the one in ix25. - better looking alloys(as per me) in Creta 2020 with respect to ix25. Also, front grill changed for better with respect to ix25 as per me. Images source: gaadiwaadi Last edited by SahilS : 6th February 2020 at 14:40. |

| ![]() This design will attract opinions ,personally front design looks decent enough but rear seems too busy for me. It seems Kia Seltos will rule this segment for long and with upcoming Kia Sonet, hyundai Venue will struggle a lot. Last edited by XRoader_001 : 6th February 2020 at 14:32. |

| ![]() The back side juts out significantly. It now looks like the elder brother of Venue, rather than the younger brother of Tucson. I preferred the previous version! |

- Panoramic Sunroof was there in ix25 as well so nothing different - Disappointing, why does Hyundai always do this to us? Earlier they gave powered seats to the Chinese but they withheld it from us till the facelift ![]() - Agree with you on that one and the grill has kinda grown on me after initial viewing. Another point I wanted to put across was - thank god, they didn't try to join the two tail-lamps together with the red strip like they do in other Chinese cars. The Hector has it, the Aura has it, frankly, I don't understand the Chinese and their obsession with joining the two tail-lamps together ![]()

| ![]() Not to sound derogatory, but from a current gen Creta owner, this looks absolutely hideous. The rear is simply unpalatable and I am not in favour of these fancy shaped alloys coming in most of the cars nowadays. Simple straight line and geometric alloys are what look good any time. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() The rear looks much better without joining the tail lamps, as in the Chinese version. The front looks good, though I prefer the simple and elegant looks of the current model. When is the official launch with prices? |

| ![]() I will take back my words, I can live with the front, but the rear is too bland for my liking. Creta was always a great car, but for the pricing. I am not sure how this car will be accepted by the public. |

| ![]() Oddly enough I like this design even though I hated it in the pictures. That grille design is ugly like a bird cage but if it gets dechromed with Piano black finish I'm game. Don't mind the rear, it gives a butch appearance. Waiting to see the pricing now. If they can undercut top end Seltos by a decent margin that would be perfect. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Quick impression 1. The front looks pretty decent to me but that grill spoils it. Reminds me of the window grill in my house. Should have tried something like the Santa Fe or Palisade. 2. The rear could have looked better without that 3rd brake light. 3. Electronic parking brake - a nice touch. 4. Loved the alloys although it looks similar to Tucson. Hope it will be loaded so that they can take on the Seltos else it will be a big challenge. Oh, I so love my first gen Creta ![]() Last edited by naveen.raju : 6th February 2020 at 15:14. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Quote: I kind of like the simple grill seen in the Indian version. It is a matter of taste. I feel the simple and understated grill adds to the sophistication factor. Looks like the huge touchscreen we saw on ix25 is missing here. Not sure, if Hyundai is saving it for a mid-life facelift. If they have done that, it is stupid. Compared to the 1st gen Creta, the boot area is stretched back a little. It slightly jets out and reduces the departure angle, but heck no one must use Creta for serious off-roading anyways. Panoramic sunroof = welcome. Indians have fallen in love with sun-roof, even though we are a hot country - we open the glass twice in a year. It is not the practicality, it is about the premium-ness. In some time, all Indian cars are going to have it. The panoramic sunroof is better than regular sun-roof any day. ix25 never featured rear A/C vents on both 1st gen and 2nd gen. Hyundai India added rear A/C vents in Creta in the 1st gen. I hope they carry the same to the 2nd gen too. India is hotter than China. All in all, a nice upgrade to a star performer for Hyundai India, they have changed every body panel on the exterior, every panel on the interior as well. They have added notable features too. Only the platform is shared with the 1st gen, everything else has changed.

| ![]() Hyundai has done a clever thing by using a dark colour for the unveil. It hides all the quirkiness of this design. In light colours it will resemble the pics circulating on the internet. Will have to see it in flesh to get a proper perspective. Hope it drives better than the current one. |
