I dont think Seltos and Hector are even in same category. Those features in Seltos are useles for ppl looking for proper SUV atleast space wise. Seltos has typical Hyundai / Kia low build quality. Plus those who own Hyundai already know poor paint quality of Hyundai which is prone to scratches very easily.

Add to that top end versions of Seltos are over priced. Also Seltos will have similar wait times as first deliveries are not starting before October.

Here's at least one car company who has empathy for people putting in faith, booking and waiting. If it's 1 reward point= 1 Rs, IMHO that it's something that the MG is willing to do. Most companies don't offer anything without haggling.

This is the need of the hour to come up(in the times of slowdown) with fresh ways to be seen caring for the prospective owners and it's really creative. Time for the other established players to sit up and take notice of innovative ways.

Car companies discount when the inventory piles up but don't seem to care for high demand models with higher waiting period.

The marketing department definitely deserves an appreciation!

Good marketing IMO. Like all other rewards schemes the value for the customer maybe minimal, but still a good one!

Is this an assumption or based on any experience? The MG got decent road presence, but does that (along with a very useful Internet Inside badge) make it a proper SUV?
