The name is quite appropriate "Jugaad"! And they are a pain on the highways around here since their top speed is about 30kmph or so, quite a nuisance they create! Will try & post pics of it if possible. |
Actually there are 2 versions
1. 3 wheeled version with enfield engine, actually enfield front half pulling a body called the Bhoond(Wasp)
2. The Maruta, which is a diesel water pump mated to a gearbox, this is four wheeled version. Maruta is getting more popular because diesel pump sets can be subsidised by showing them for agricultural use |
