i am getting delivery of my new innova today, the car was bought from gujrat and was driven with the octroi paid, now i have to get the car reg what is the procedure for the same as i have never done it in this way before. car is a 6+1 seater so i will get white plates. have to get it reg. in company and mumbai reg itself. can i drive it around without plates or not. thanks a lot...

didn't you get a Temp certificate in gujarat ? if you did, that has a validity of a few days which can be used for now.

i did, going to the rto now, not much help here.

You can drive around with the temp RC till you apply & get the permanent one
