Better go for KIA Seltos automatic, It has a better quality, Better offering in automatic technology , Better value for money proposition, as well as a BS6 Engine at a very competitive/attractive pricing.

Nice to see this. Sat next to him on a flight once and we discussed cars to death. I told him, they needed to bring a car like the Kia Soul into India. He agreed and mentioned that they were moving toward that with Hyundai.

Nissan India has appointed Saurabh Vatsa as MD; he will replace Rakesh Srivastava from April 1 onwards.

Corporate world is indeed funny!
On one hand the head honcho's will be saying only "high performers" can earn their laurels and tom-tom-ing the fact that their organisation is only for "dynamic, far sighted and exceptionally talented leaders"
And yet, here we come to know of a senior-most appointment being given to someone with an immediate "ho-hum" history of work performance w.r.t. product and brand they were supposed to look after and make them grow.

Wish Nissan lots of luck and hope it does not go the Stellantis way.

Re: Surprise! Nissan India ropes in Rakesh Srivastava as MD

With all due respect to Mr. Shrivastava, was he able to achieve what Nissan wanted? Is there any growth trajectory which he is handing over to Mr. Vatsa?

Going by the wholesale dispatch figures for last couple of years, the graph more or less looks static with market share of around 1% approximately and only 1 product in portfolio.
