I got my license in 1980. Got my first car in 1982 , a used premier Padmini.Not that I am rich, but all that I earned has gone in to these cars !

What are we trying to convey in this thread? Possibly the audience viewpoint of which car they loved and trashed might add substance. Else, just naming the cars doesn't do justice to an otherwise meaty forum.

Following are the cars I've driven:

2013 Mahindra XUV500 (MT, Diesel)- Great pickup but due to it being huge, tremendous body roll observed
2009 Honda City (CVT, Petrol)- Good driving experience, Laggy pickup because of CVT
2017 Maruti Suzuki Ignis (MT, Petrol)- Fun to drive, light steering — good for city driving but excessive noise on highways
2015 Honda City (CVT, Petrol)- Amazing drive, great pickup! — definitely a good upgrade from the 2009 Honda City. Highway driving is super fun in any Honda City.
2017 Honda Jazz (CVT, Petrol)- Due to being small, it is fun to wade through traffic in the city and OK driving experience on highways. Laggy pickup.
2014 Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire (MT, Petrol)- Good to drive, similar experience as other Maruti Suzuki cars.
2005 Toyota Corolla (AT, Petrol)- OK drive, car was almost 13 years old when I drove it.
2017 Ford Freestyle (MT, Diesel)- Was a rental equipped with speed monitoring system. Good car, with good ground clearance.
2008 Hyundai i10 (MT, Petrol)- Car was 7 years old when I drove it, good as a beater.
2006 Maruti Suzuki WagonR (MT, Petrol+LPG)- Car was 9 years old and had been flooded twice. Good car to learn to drive on and use as a beater.
2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift (AT, Diesel)- Was a rental equipped with speed monitoring system. Was an OK experience driving it maybe due to it being a rental?

Driven my cousin's Bolero and Skoda Rapid too extensively

Bike? Pulsar 150 - in 2002. I lost control because of a jaywalker on ECR near VGP and spent a couple of days in Malar ICU. That was how my biking adventures ended.

Let me do it now. 1998-2000 - Buick (Cousin's) - USA 2001-2002 - Toyota Corolla (Own) - USA 2003-2015 - Hyundai Santro (Own) - Chennai and Hyderabad 2007-2013 - Maruti Swift (Own) - Hyderabad 2013-2017 - XUV500 (Own) - Hyderabad 2014-2019 - Maruti Ritz (In-laws' car) 2016-2019 - Audi A6 Estate (UK) Driven my cousin's Bolero and Skoda Rapid too extensively Bike? Pulsar 150 - in 2002. I lost control because of a jaywalker on ECR near VGP and spent a couple of days in Malar ICU. That was how my biking adventures ended. What next? 2022 - Hopefully Jaguar iPace or Tesla Model X!
