Daewoo Assets Sold

As per eco times today Daewoo India assets have been sold to a company started by Mr BVR Subbu (former Hyundai India head). Any info about what they are going to manufacture there? Since Mr Subbu is involved it may be interesting to see what products they will make.

BVR Subbu is in the process of remaking the old Fiat Uno bodyshells mated to a low cost engine. To release another affordable car to the masses. Its success remains to be seen.

Pity GM India couldnt get that Daewoo plant. It would have speeded up their Matiz/Spark relaunch by a year.

You absolutely sure about this MAG...?

About a year ago (last april-May) I had been told by a VERY reliable source that Mr. B.V.R Subbu had joined a company called Stokota...they make truck trailers, pressure vessels etc. Belgian company if I'm not mistaken

Am given to understand that they plan to make engines etc under contract like HM do
