This basically means that Audi is sitting on an inventory of at least 100 CKD kits which they want to get rid off so that they can launch the facelift which is already available in international markets.

So, Audi is also bitten by the ''limited edition'' bug! I will soon expect a "Bling Edition" with chrome all over.lol:

Now a days, I do not see many Q7 on Chennai roads, compared to the BMW and Merc SUVs.

Lovely, understated look! But I wonder if it's more than just plain old cosmetic updates on the outside. If so, it doesn't justify the ~1 Lac premium over the regular top-end.

Looks nice with all the blacked out elements and the contrast white colour. This is a good way of selling the remaining stock before the new version comes but I hope they stop with this and don't go the VW way!

Audi so broke that they just painted on Some black parts on a 4 year old car and called it the black edition. Even though this black edition is a gimmick and is a dealer level job but atleast give a newer car for the media.
Ps : Just realised that giving a new car to media would result in only 99 customers getting the privilege of owning a limited black edition Audilol:
