Taigun is speculated to be placed a tad cheaper( with lesser variants) than Kushaq.

They are probably trying to replicate the Seltos-Creta formula here. Seltos has all engine options with MT and Automatic; but creta doesnt have MT on the turbo petrol engine option. I just hope Taigun comes with MT in 1.5TSI engine.

I will have to change my car this year. If Taigun comes with 1.5TSI with MT and wireless Apple Carplay, I would amount the first ones to book it.

Is it just me or does is look like the suspensions are really soft for a VW car?

Could also be the effect of camera shake.

Visited a VW showroom yesterday, and the prices are expected to be between 14-18L OTR.

I asked if we'll be having the 1.5L with a DSG gearbox, and the SM confirmed the same. At 18L OTR for a top end variant, this could very well challenge the Korean twins.

As per the exclusive story published by Autocar in Jan, ex-showroom price is expected to be 10-18L. I would be really surprised(and extremely happy) if the OTR for top end is in-fact 18L.

BTW, there is no news or any new spy shots from Taigun Lately. Aren't we supposed to have a media drive or some sort in Feb?

If this is true, a wonderful surprise. Because initial ly unveil was planned for around mid year. Think someone in VW woke to senses one fine morning or may be after effect from Kushaq launch.

Its scheduled for Diwali launch. Not sure why they are doing a release event in March.

Considering we havn't seen much test mules so far like Kushaq before unveil, this is indeed a surprise. Is Taigun launch going to be pre-poned?
