Loved the Hybrid, the reduced boot size was the only thing I did not like.
Me as a 11 year old City iDTEC user, who bought used in 2017 when the odo was at 35k Kms and presently, the odo is at 195k Kms and is lying unused presently after I moved to USA in 2023 though occasionally driven by mom whenever she makes a visit to some place.

Till date, I've replaced engine mounts when the odo was at 155k Kms in 2023 and almost a year ago, got the engine timing kit replaced as well as clutch was replaced for the second time when the odo was at 186k Kms in Jul 2024.

Except for AC cooling issue, the car is running fine.

Now, since it sees barely any usage, thinking to let go of it and get a Petrol AT or EV so that it'll be easy to drive for mom, who will be using the car in my absence.

The cars holding up really well. We had changed the engine mounts at 180k, nothing other than that. The body has some dinks now- courtesy- the missus.
Coming to the boot of the hybrid, even with the battery pack, it’s quite huge and shaped well to gobble up luggage.

If you load large hard suitcase, say around 30", that's it Only the sides were left where small carry-ons can be fitted again depending on size. I'm having to do more planning on the bag sizes to take with us on travels to make sure max can be put into the boot.

My old non-hybrid city has a cavernous boot

Yeah , may be that’s Honda way of serving customers. 3M used to have a range of brake disc finishing abrasive that is used for resurfacing. I assume it sells where DIY is popular.

Re: The 5th-gen Honda City in India. EDIT: Review on page 62

Has anyone invested in an aftermarket TPMS system like the JK Treel one? I don't like the inbuilt one that doesn't give the exact readings and feel that the aftermarket ones might be better.

Looking for reviews, and any alternatives people might be using...

this is sorted now. No disconnect of Android Auto, either the update on phone fixed it or whatever was causing the problem in those specific areas is removed.

I'm also interested in knowing the available and tried options for City. Any affordable yet reliable suggestions will be appreciated

Not on City, but on my old Ford Freestyle used those, the readings were fine not much variation from actual pressure in fact one time an air pump guy filled up 42 while confirming its 35 showing from his gauge. App was decent, but kept beeping all the time with notifications as it used to come for each PSI drop or raise in pressure, there was no option in app to set a kind of limit if pressure falls below say 5 psi at a time but still worked for me as I am lazy to get pressure checked. I used them for over two sets of Tyres around 80K Kms. I think they costed around INR 2000~2400.

I am thinking to get in current City also now, the deflation system is fine, but knowing actual pressure is really good. Think Honda also offers as accessories, not sure on the price though will check out at this service next week.

Hi everyone. The AC in my 5th gen City is not cooling well even after getting everything checked. Does the car have a relatively weaker AC or should I get it checked again for issues beyond the gas and the filter? Thanks.

Thanks for the review. Nice to know they worked with 2 sets of tires over 80k kms.

Question - did you, by chance, get it installed from NCR? Looking for dealer reviews as well

Honda City's AC is exceptionally good and have never had any issue in the last three years. I have seen similar feedback from others as well. I rarely ever need to reduce the temperature under 25 degrees celsius while on automatic climate control. I hope you are using ACC as well.
Please do get it checked further or with a different service center if you are not happy with the current one.

I bought the Bosch Clear Advantage 26" and 14" wipers after reading this post, and they perform better than my previous stock wipers . Upgrading to 14" from 13" presented no clearance issues. They cost around 800 Rs. For anyone considering a wiper upgrade, these wipers are worth upgrading from the stock which also cost more if done via service centre route.

Where did you buy them from? Local store or online? And did you replace them yourself (is that easy?) or via someone at a local store?

Can you please share the link here for the wipers? I am looking to change the wiper blades.
