| ![]() I am not sure if I like the new design. Looks a lot more like the current gen Amaze with the Brio facelift grill. A more upright stance. Maybe I'll change my mind after seeing better quality pics. Maybe the catalogue pics doesn't do it justice. |

| ![]() Wow ! This design is a massive disappointment My god Honda why did you have to play it so safe ? How is this in any way better than the current generation car in terms of design ? This looks like the previous generation civic which was widely criticised for being too boring and understated (the one that didn't make it to India) That Interior too is very disappointing ! I don't see any digital dials and the design is more functional In the sedan segment, i feel manufacturers need to be more daring in design if they have to make a case over a Seltos for example ! |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() Looks like the City has matured indeed! 'Standing on the edge' is the design theme for 2020. Very safe design that should offend none, but may not excite as many people as the earlier designs (especially the Arrowform third generation) did either. Some more insights into the design aspects, from the presentation ceremony - Last edited by CrAzY dRiVeR : 25th November 2019 at 13:28. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() I find it quiet good, except for the wheels that are a size small compared to the bulk of the car on side profile. I find the interior quiet sporty. Do we get the 1.5L NA or just the 1L turbo petrol only? It looks like a shrunken Civic which I feel is not all that bad. Looks like those seats are low set unlike the present City where it's really comfortable to slip into. Last edited by Durango Dude : 25th November 2019 at 13:56. |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() The City has grown up but man the design looks so bland and simple. Suddenly it no longer looks like the type of car that will appeal to younger crowd but more to older audience. Nothing wow about it. Also the engine option. Only one thing to say: Brace yourselves the 1.0L 3 cylinder turbo engines are coming. The Rapid/Vento will get one as well and looks like the City as well. Again best time to buy a high revving 1.5L NA VTEC Honda is now. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() The Civic-inspired front-end fails to mask the overall plain and 'safe' looks. Inside, I see they've gone back to having knobs for Climate control. That's so much better than the touch controls, which were very distracting during driving. |

| ![]() This is the Honda City, your Dad Wants !! Actually, I am quite happy, Honda could have done worse. I love the taillights and interiors, while not path breaking already seem best in class. space has never been an issue with the City. But, if build quality has been improved along with interior quality (which appears to be the case), then will still be a good buy. I don't see Honda increasing the price of this car by a large extent compared to the previous generation. A performance City RS version for India would be nice to have.
