To say a good thing without truth is okay, but which journalist/reviewer in sane mind will ever dare to post against a company known for bullying customers with court cases.
Going by my experience of dealing with Value 360 and even the PR executive in question here, the tone and language used in the mail is very very unusual. This is simply not how any agency communicates with any blogger/influencer/journalist. Also, there are several grammatical errors and issues like misspelled name of the company (it’s MG Motor India and not MG Motors India or MG India), which is very rare in an official email like this.

I am simply speculating here but chances are that the agency could have been in touch with the influencer for some sort of paid engagement/tie-up. Anyway, what really annoys me is that the instagrammer couldn't give two hoots to someone's privacy and shares her contact detaila on a social media platform. Guess it is high time everyone starts taking privacy seriously and not resort to cyber bullying.

Yes, I agree with @YC.BALENO.CHD

I have interacted with Value360 as well as the PR executive involved in the whole fiasco.

This seems fishy to me, this particular page was posting against MG since quite a long time & it's credibility factor is questionable.

That said, whatever happened is wrong.

re: 6-seater MG Hector Plus spotted testing. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 13.49 lakh

First and foremost,

Pubicly posting phone number of Taniya is really wrong from his part. I pity her, how many hundreds of irrelevant calls she might have to face because of this blunder.

The PR agency should file a defamation case against him for his insane allegations against the brand on not only this post but numerous other posts.

That poor soul had gone a step further and accused MG of spying on its Indian customers. Is he from RAW or FBI? Just another random Instagrammer who is constantly cribbing against MG for a long time.

I have interacted with Value360 and Taniya on multiple occasions and like Rehaan mentioned neither Value360 nor her is immature enough to do a blunder like that. Why on earth would someone offer or 'bribe' (the way he likes to call it) over an official email? Straight outta Bollywood flick.

The worse is the Brand is addressed in the email as MG Motors India, MG Motors, multiple times, actually it's MG Motor India. The least the company I work for would expect is to spell them right. Pretty sure she wouldn't do a grave mistake like this.

Ironically he posted another screenshot where he has allegedly claimed an account called 'carloversofindia' spoke to him in broken English and SMS lingo Hindi to strike an all-cash deal to remove posts related to MG. Of course, that page doesn't exist anymore. What an irony.

A week ago, when I checked his LinkedIn profile it says he was a student at a some University in Singapore. Guess what? Along with the alleged post, he has deleted his LinkedIn profile too.

God save us from these Instagrammers. (I have an Instagram account too).

MG Hector Plus pre-bookings open

MG dealerships have started accepting pre-bookings for the Hector Plus. The booking amount is set at Rs. 50,000. Customers can also place their orders online on this website.

The Hector Plus is based on the regular Hector. However, instead of a bench seat, it gets separate captain seats in the second row and a third row of seats as well.

The Hector Plus gets a slightly reworked grille and headlamp clusters. At the rear, instead of a light bar between the two tail lamp clusters, the vehicle gets a chrome strip. The rear design also incorporates fake chrome exhausts.

The Hector Plus is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 168 BHP and 350 Nm, which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The SUV also comes with a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm mated to 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain that is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

There's no 7 seater, bench seat varaint? Earlier I had read MG would be offering it. IMO, they should.

What is MG's source of strength to have an impending launch when everyone is making a noise, more so an attempt this time to get rid of anything "Chinese" .

Are they confident of their British branding.

A lot of buyers are not aware of the chinese connection and then there are good chunk of folks who will just see value in products they buy. Lastly there are well informed buyers who are aware that even an Indian manufacturer's product is largely dependent on China!

Add to that, the product itself has its strengths. It offers a kind of value for casual customers that others simply can’t.

The back side looks INSANE in white color. I really wish TATA pulls off something fantastic because everytime they do something, others are one step ahead.
