This has to be the GOAT prank ever! Leasing services without a car. I mean, what were they even thinking?

Mon Dieu, the French. The French automobile industry has survived because of French Govt largesse else they would have gone the British way. I wonder why they think they can do well in the Indian market. They don't have great products. They can't compete on price. Are they leaders in the next generation of EV cars? I don't know but I doubt it.



Though not a Citroen, perhaps it is time to post this French auto ad about India which was quite popular once upon a time.

Possibly the leasing service will have cars from other brands also available.
Interesting thought process and approach to market. Certainly looks to a a low cost testing strategy.

Introduce the cars as lease option and see what fails. Customers as part of R&D team but at lower cost than say Mahindra.

Maybe peugeot should have done something like this back in the 90s too. My dad has told me how the ads themselves pronounced it as PAL-"Pew-got" ..
