Re: Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift in the works

Caught the new TUV300 Plus facelift with production spec headlamps and undergoing emissions testing along with a host of other Mahindra vehicles.

The vehicle still has side facing rear bench seats in this top of the line P8 variant.

The headlamps have changed to a swept back look. They seem to resemble the ones from Mahindra Imperio now, without the beak on the inner side.

TUV body fused with Suzuki Vitara's front? This boxy side and rear doesn't gel well with the curvy face. Another nonsense from M&M.

Re: Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift in the works

Sure hope the front facing third row makes it to the facelift. Seems unlikely though. The BS4 version was a very capable product that sat in no man's land. As a package, it didn't seem to be attractive enough (in terms of what it offered - not aesthetics) to commercial operators nor private buyers.

Re: Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift in the works

Wonder if they are going to launch this year end, or wait for next year to launch the BS6 versions.
Asked the SA who came for the XUV300 TD, and he was like, "No sir, no news so far. i guess it will be discontinued"
Left it at that.

I really hope it's a badge mismatch. Someone may have mistakenly stuck the TUV300 badging on the Plus.

Wishful thinking. But the 1.5l engine used in the XUV300 and Marazzo would have made the TUV300 the perfect rugged alternative to the CSUVs. Then again, with the Bolero and I guess commercial vehicles using the 3 pot in BS6, they may have wanted scale of operations.

Re: Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift in the works

Look a lot like the Mahindra Alturas front look, especially the front top chrome line and logo. The product is not outright bad, but there is no compelling reason to buy it as well. The rural folks have the bolero, the urban folks have more upscale cross overs / Pseudo SUVs. The audience could be the rich rural folks who want to get some thing "More" than the traditional Bolero..

Re: Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift in the works

Seems like good usage of "don't fix if not broken". Possibly the only RWD vehicle at this price point as well.

By the way, the rear 3/4th does look like a mini Grand Vitara with really small wheels. I Think it is because of the tail light and rear mounted spare.

Re: Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift in the works

Mahindra TUV300 Plus facelift to be called Bolero Neo Plus

This year, the Mahindra TUV300 was rebranded as the Bolero Neo. The sub-4 meter crossover was launched in July 2021, and there have been talks of an extended version called the Bolero Neo Plus.

Veejay Nakra, CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra, had confirmed that the Bolero Neo Plus was on the cards. However, there hasn't been any update on it since.

The Bolero Neo Plus will essentially be an updated TUV300 Plus. The car will get a slightly longer rear overhang and a larger boot. It is expected to be offered with the same 1.5-litre mHawk100 diesel engine as the Bolero Neo. This engine produces 100 BHP and 260 Nm and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It has an Eco Mode and an Auto start / stop function.

In terms of its styling, the Bolero Neo Plus could get a similar front fascia as the sub-4 meter version, albeit with minor changes. However, the rear end design will be tweaked to accommodate the extended boot.

^^^ For a moment I thought Ranveer Singh was the interviewer.

I really wish Mahindra to fix those backslash B and C pillar and straighten them.

3 pillars, all of them leaning backwards, its got to be the strangest looking side profile ever with no cohesion or relation to other Mahindra family "look".

Wait. Pray this is a typo or some lazy journalism.

Where did the 2.2l mHawk go? No way they are going to launch the plus version with the same mediocre 1.5l 3 pot
