(Spy Pics) Next Generation Mitsubishi Montero?

Saw this today. Looks great, and the interiors are good too. Comes fully loaded with a Rockford Fosgate audion system and all. Manual transmission with 4wd and a selector for high and low ranges. Dunno whats under the hood, but probably the 3.2L turbodiesel.
Tried to take some pics of the interior, but the reflecting glass made it impossible.

(Moderators, I do not know whether this is indeed the new unlaunched Montero. If this is already in the Indian market and all this is old news, please delete this thread).

Will you sponsor me? I will write your name across the phone (the way sponsors' name is emblazoned on cars.).

This is indeed the facelift that was recently launched internationally. Major improvements:

1. Better interiors
2. Common-rail diesel.

Some people thought the old one looks better....but good job by HM nevertheless. Must be the fastest that they have ever replaced a car with its newer generation.

Or are they going to sell this separately? Pajero 2.8, Montero 3.2 and......

Its called Pajero/Montero/Shogun

In the UAE it is launched as the new pajero, with a 3.8-litre and is shifted using an INVECS-II 5-speed automatic transmission. Mitsubishi has retained the 3.0-litre V6 powerpalnt in the line-up for customers looking for economy in their SUV. The 3.0-litre engine features ECI-Multi fuel injection and transmits the power to the wheels using an INVECS-II 4-speed automatic transmission.

As for the Uk markets crdi engine[to reach uk shores by march 1,2007]:
Beneath the Shogun’s bonnet sits a heavily revised version of Mitsubishi’s acclaimed 3.2-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. Now featuring an advanced high-pressure common rail fuel injection system, the 3200cc unit produces 168bhp at 3800rpm and a hefty 373Nm of torque at 2000rpm when hooked up to Mitsubishi Motors INVECS-II automatic gearbox with sequential ‘Sports Mode’. In models fitted with the Shogun’s revised five-speed manual transmission, outputs are 158bhp at 3800rpm and 381Nm at 2000rpm.

Tushky, sajo was the interior similar to this:

The tranny was a manual. And there was no navigation screen either. As I said, there was a Rockford Fosgate audio system instead.

where is the grandis, colt and the outlander ?? mitsubishi needs to not waste time and bring in these models into the indian market. phase out the old lancer b/c its way too old and it does not sell like hot cakes like it used to. the company has some brilliant cars internationally and india needs to get those on their roads.
