BHPian ![]() | ![]() If you want any automotive manufacturer to launch a new vehicle in Indian market from their existing portfolio in other countries, which vehicle would it be and why. My pick - Golf GTI. - Yes it would be an expensive hatch in India but with the amount of success Octavia RS got over the years, i think it would be a hit among the enthusiasts. - A person buying this would have at least one vehicle in the household and wont mind about the size. - Amount of customization one can do on these vehicle is just innumerable. Simple mods or tunes can just complete change the behavior of this vehicle. |

| ![]() I think one vehicle that I would like to see here is the Ford F-150. Now any other car or vehicle can be imported here but will either suit our conditions or will get lost amongst other rivals or simply lose out on the new brand enigma. But the F-150 is one unique proposition that will immediately make the Indians notice mainly because of its looks, pedigree and ability to tackle our roads. If history in our market is anything to go by, it's XL size and pick up truck design makes it a dud, but I feel this car can change the way people look at imposing pick up trucks in the Indian market. Imagine a standard F-150 XLT trim with the 2.7L Ecoboost engine at around the 40 to 50L price range. Yes, the XLT trim is pretty well kitted. Also, The Raptor can easily win buyers if priced at the 60L mark. I know the price will make a common man irk, but I can foresee many young car enthusiasts lapping it up. It's Fast and Furious movie fame is just too hard to ignore. ![]() |

| ![]() The one car that I would like to be sold in India is the Mazda 626. Even though the model is quite old i believe the overall shape and car carries an appeal. |

| ![]() Lineup of any of these: Subaru Impreza, Ford Focus, VW Golf, Honda Civic, Swift Sport. These cars in their respective hot hatch versions are all good in their own rights but I really wish Subaru comes to India. Not only the Impreza is my pick of the lot but Subaru's whole product lineup is known to be robust and go-anywhere, perfect for Indian conditions. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() By God it has to be the Jimny. With Maruti going on and off about it's launch in India, I hope it makes it here. My dream to own a petrol powered offroader will come true if Maruti brings her here. ![]() |

| ![]() VW Scirocco has remained timeless for over a decade. My neighbour owns a 2006 Silver, which looks like it is carved out of an ingot - and I simply stare at it. Ethreal! VW, please bring this beauty to our shores. |

| ![]() Subaru Outback would be one interesting car. Maybe Subaru should launch it on its own brand. It has rich enough a history. Is MG can do well, why not Subaru? |
