to tell the truth, i didnt knew about any other cars of lancia other than stratos, that too have read about that in BS motoring website, later google about it and found that car looking cool and was favaourite to lot of people in the rallying, Me too liked the car, especially its a mid-engine, if I remember it correctly.
BTW, did the lancia took inspiration for the delta integrale from early VW golf???, it appears so.

Yes Stratos was mid-engined whereas the Integrale was Front-engine 4wd. Great car & still a favourite among enthusiasts in Europe.

Here are some links for more info on the Integrale:

The chinkara was a replica of the caterham. Only at looks.
Mr.Raymonds had bought the first car in the country and it was a handful to handle,i heard.
There is another guy who's done it with the esteem engine and i heard its better.

The car(s) from which these chinkara's are inspired are simple fun machines, they are not practical too. However I may agree (since I havent driven both the inspiration and the copies) if you say Chinkara's are less practical even compared to the Caterham 7 (I mean the practicality of having fun).

Another indian car maker, one of whose examples is infact in team bhp is the Jayaram the makers of the GT and the special.

They are not car makers. The Jayarams built, and continue to build their cars for their own pleasure.
