I don't think there's room in India for 3 VW's badged differently! (VW, Skoda and Seat!)

The VW plant construction contract has been bagged by the construction company owned by Shapoorji Pallonji last week.

the other day i saw a tv program where they mentioned that Porsche is going to build cars in India and they are going to use VW/Skoda facilities for the same. how credible is this?

I think the Seat Leon would be a great car for India, though.

Of course they'd market it as a 'premium' car, like Skoda do, but a mid-price hatchback of better quality than our swifts and so on would be a really good option.
