South Korean automaker Hyundai is targeting women customers in the Indian market now.
The company has announced that with purchase of a new Hyundai car, female car buyers in India are being offered “women-friendly features” like reduced interest rates, lower processing fees, discounts on gold purchases, and a free credit card.
The company said that they have launched this “Special Women Scheme” in order to “encourage car ownership among the fairer sex”.
This promotion would last till the end of this month.
It is available on models like Hyundai Santro and Getz.
Hyundai has partnered with 14 banks and auto finance companies in order to present the offer.

These would be pretty friendly for men also

Great move and it's about time. Imagine the huge market out there just waiting to be tapped. I'd suggest adding a free trip to the parlour with vouchers worth Rs. 5,000, a free consultation at Kaya skin clinic with free remedies worth Rs. 3000 and 2 books and CD's on safe driving. One for the husband's, boy friends, borthers , father and other MALE family members too. Maybe they can throw in a free lesson on changing flat tyre's, checking air pressure's and basic engine bay knowledge too.

A lot of Santro's and Getz's are going to be bought by men in the names of their wives, girl friends, sisters , mothers etc.

These incentives don't sound particularly women-friendly to me either - more like consumer friendly. They should take a leaf out of Reva's book and add storage compartments for handbags, shoes, makeup and so on. Also maybe a collaboration with revlon / loreal for wider colour options :p
