According to a media report, Porsche is likely to launch the Cayenne Coupe in India on December 13, 2019.

The Cayenne Coupe made its global debut in March 2019. It is based on the regular model but features a coupe-like roofline. The A-pillars are shorter as the roof edge has been lowered by 20 mm. It comes with a second spoiler – an active spoiler similar to the standard car, which extends by 135 mm at speeds of 90 km/h.

In India, the Cayenne Coupe is likely to be offered with a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 335 BHP and 450 Nm of torque and a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 unit that puts out 542 BHP and 770 Nm of peak torque.

Reports suggest that Porsche could also launch the Turbo S e-Hybrid with a plug-in hybrid powertrain at a later date.

Yes, both the models are listed at Indian webpage with prices

Regular V6 - 1,31 and Turbo V 8 - 1,97 Plus Porsche addons and you are looking at 20-30 Lac extras.

Haven't seen this in person but I never liked the Cayenne. Maybe this turns up differently ( sportier) Can understand the high Taxes and duties but what stops manufacturers to give packages like they do in the American market instead of item vice options. From BMW to Mercedes or Porsche, looks everyone wants to milk this segment and they are not at all bothered by numbers.

Whichever way you look at it, India is more about the marque than about the trim. That makes it an extremely risky market to provide a larger portfolio. So the companies are simply not putting money where it won't make the dough flow.

That being said things have improved a lot more than previously.

re: The Porsche Cayenne Coupe, launched at Rs 1.31 crore

Launched:

The German carmaker's SUV-coupe comes with two petrol engine options; it rivals the Range Rover Sport and Lamborghini Urus. Porsche has launched the Cayenne Coupe in India, with prices starting at Rs 1.31 crore. The SUV-coupé can be had in two versions – Cayenne Coupe and Cayenne Turbo Coupe – and is brought to India as a CBU (Completely Built-up Unit).

*All prices are ex-showroom, pan-India.

The standard Cayenne V6 costs Rs 1.19 crore while the Cayenne Turbo is priced at Rs 1.92 crore, making the Coupe variants pricier by around Rs 12 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, respectively.
