It seems that the Octavia vRS245 deliveries have begun as dealerships have started business again amidst the lockdown.

Looks absolutely gorgeous in the 'Race Blue' Avatar(pun intended of course).

A beast of a car, it was no surprise that the initial batch of 200 Units was lapped up instantly. The vRS has the glam quotient and an aspirational tag attached to it which should compel Skoda India start manufacturing at their Aurangabad, Maharashtra Plant.

A bit off topic:- I vividly remember one of my friend in procuring a factory Fabia from their plant in Aurangabad minus the dealer commissions and me accompanying him for this journey was one of my finest experiences at a Car plant. The 1.6 was a breeze to ride and a beast on open roads.

The Skoda Aurangabad Plant is well upto their European Standards and one can see a lot of expats in the vicinity.

That green is going to be a head turner for two very different set of people, for two very different reasons, I like it.

The green VRS looks sweet and a refreshing change from the usual reds and blues. Though of course, it is a very polarising colour and I am not sure that I personally would be able to live with it.

My all time favourite has been the race blue on the VRS and I still continue to drool at one every time I see one on the road.

The green VRS looks fit for the weird and wacky thread on this forum, especially with these alloys.

Can not believe that they replaced Nardo grey (what a shade!) for this monstrosity of a color.

Totally agree! It's a tragedy that they've dropped that beauty of a grey shade (my favourite) . Is that because there were few takers for this shade last time?

I am yet to see a grey VRS in the flesh. Most I've seen are blues and reds and a few whites and blacks. That green is just too whacky for my liking too. And those alloys are weird too.

They have introduced the Superb Sportline in a Steel Grey which looks very similar to Nardo Grey:
