Wow. Sounds like a nice price.
Should be well within 8 lakhs for the ZXi in Chennai OTR - which is not too bad, given that the car is loaded.

I wouldn't mind paying 8L for the Zxi, but then I am not sure I like the looks. I hated the Verna's looks and this looks uncannily similar. But then in the C-segment, looks do not really matter, I guess - how else would be explain the ugly duckling sell truckloads. Let's see how it looks in the flesh.

MUL seems to be taking the right steps. Looks like it is going to be a tough ride for the competition. NHC, watch out...

Hmm, not bad. Say about 35k more for Ex-Showroom Mumbai, brings it to 7.20 L.
Plus registration and indurance formalities, will bring it to 8L OTR. Not bad at all. I bet this is an introductory offer, just like they had for the Swift. MUL knows they got good competition in this segment.

That is awesome pricing even though introductory. Make hay while the sun shines.

I expect the prices to be 7 lakhs for the vxi and close to 8 lakhs for the zxi in Mumbai

Nice pricing it seems. But what's with this "introductory pricing"! Just a way for customers to flock for initial bookings and for dealers to build up some capital from the booking amounts?

It's no more a NHC killer...
At these prices it shall be a Segement Leader.

Ill try to push the dealer for an early test drive . As of now they only have the demo version of the car...

thanks rahul for the prices... The dealer also wasnt aware of them...

Ditto. Exact pricing (ExShowroom) is
VXi: 6.18
ZXi: 6.89
ZXi Leather: 7.24
To this, Delhi members can add another 50~55k to get the On-Road prices.

Cheers

Guys any rough idea how much replacing stock 15inch tyres in vxi with 16inch alloys of ZXi is going to cost?

I wonder if they have the NRI-special price on this one. That usually helps you save about 30k on a small car, should be about 40 k on the bigger SX4.

However, spot-on pricing and full marks to Maruti. No diesel pricing yet?

Forget NHC, this pricing seems bang on spot with Fiesta,Verna,Aveo. Butttttt - this is a Maruti (counts for a lot), and has a lot more goodies.

Only 2 things could happen - SX4 completes the job of hitting NHC that Fiesta had started or - SX4 makes Fiesta/Aveo/Verna history (at least the petrol versions).
