I think it should look better on white/silver shade. It looks weird because of the color combination it forms with yellow. That red one should also look better when seen in bright daylight.

Re: Tata Tiago & Tigor facelift launched at Rs 4.6 lakh & 5.75 lakh

I've always wondered how much these sticker jobs boost sales.

To me the decals and stickering is absolutely worthless. I would instead like some additional features in a special edition (like the MG Hector's anniversary edition).

But seeing as how automakers have been doing these sticker jobs for decades, can anyone with inside experience/knowhow comment on how effective they are? Would love to know.

Looks much better than Maruti's RS editions.

Re: Tata Tiago & Tigor facelift launched at Rs 4.6 lakh & 5.75 lakh

Instead of these lame sticker jobs, why doesn't Tata consider a cross-Tiago? With the current monsoons on a rampage, a high-GC car has good potential in the entry-level segment. I remember they had the NRG variant some time back, but I think it was the same mechanical package slapped with some plastic cladding.

The A segment has decent choices like the Kwid, S-presso.
But for the B1 segment, it would be nice to have a well built car with high GC along with an automatic. It will be perfect for the city.

This Soccer edition kit has been there since 2018 atleast. See the FB page of a Kannur dealership in Kerala.

Some Tata dealership is finding new use for their old stocks of stickers and the internet is all over this

But I do agree the stickering looks nice in that new 2020 yellow shade of Tiago!

Back in 2014, Chevrolet released Manchester united editions of Beat and Sail. They looked way better in terms of overall stickering / wrapping attention to detail (interiors, trim on alloys, etc)

I wish Tata improves the quality and designs of 'stickers' in future.

Thanks for sharing! A wonderful sight. Actually shows how much scope of improvement we still have. Where a lot of goods ideally should shift into using rail network (after developing it fast) thus decongesting roads and highways. While it won't be the best for trucking industry, long haul goods transport of all kind really urgently needs to shift to rail network from trucks. At least wherever the network is available. If the transport/rail ministries work together to actually give great offers and commercial quotes to the manufacturers (like Tata motors in this case) - it will be a win-win especially when railways is also looking at dwindling passenger revenues.

Pardon me for This lockdown has resulted into some steps in that direction. Kia is using railway big time for shipping. Recently there was a tweet of Kia SUVs being shipped by rail to Nautanwa near Nepal border for export. 6 rakes of SUVs were shipped by Kia to various parts.

Railways have started something called "Business development units" to bring more non conventional cargo (i e apart from coal, cement, petroleum, grains, ore, steel etc) into rail. Bhiwandi near Mumbai, which is a HUGE warehouse hotspot for e commerce and courier firms , saw at least 3 parcel trains being loaded with goods despatched to various parts of the country

I am extremely sorry for the really bad quality of picture but it was very sudden and it wasn't a electric vehicle since it was making a lot of noise.

Tigor turbo probably?

I'm sure you meant Tigor turbo here because as per photo, this is no Tiago.

Re: Tata Tiago & Tigor facelift launched at Rs 4.6 lakh & 5.75 lakh

I have been a proud owner of BS6 Tigor XZA+ since March 2020. Absolutely flawless vehicle so far. Convenient and comfortable car to drive and use. Predominantly used it for highway rides only so far due to pandemic situation. The AMT is a no nonsense one. Works much better than Maruti's. There is a bit of jerk in 1st gear initially. Had to be soft on the accelerator pedal to reduce the jerks. During highway rides, overtaking is a smooth affair like the manual ones. A little of pushing the accelerator pedal, AMT downshifts the gear and ensures smooth overtake. AC is a chiller and the touchscreen is good for navigation. The audio is another good thing in this car. Overall Tigor is a much under appreciated sedan car. My senior citizen parents felt the sitting is more comfortable in this car than others. Mileage is also good, pretty much 18 to 19 kmpl. Sharing some snaps of this beauty.

This beauty is coming to my home as our family's first car by the end of this month. I am so damn excited to get it seriously.

By the way can you update me on the NVH levels of the car below 2500 rpm. This is a question I have asked many times.

Thanks very much in advance and wishing you much more safer and hassle free miles ahead.
