| ![]() Tata Tiago and Tigor facelift brochures leaked: ![]() The Tiago is getting some fresh, vibrant colours like yellow. Sadly, that beautiful orange shade still hasn't returned. The LCD instrument cluster is present and is shared with the Tigor and Nexon. ![]() The Tigor gets a push button start over it's hatchback twin, and shares it's steering wheel with it, along with the Altroz and Nexon. | ![]() The Tiago and Tioor twins were already pretty handsome and understated looking cars in my view, and now with this update, looks a little better. Especially the all black interiors, what a welcome relief from the beige nonsense that some manufacturers churn out. And that flat bottomed steering wheels looks yummy! Now to see what incremental improvements the JTP twins come with. Wish they had retained the analog dials though, prefer them over the digital fad which is prevalent nowadays. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Considering that the Tiago and Altroz share the same powertrains, wouldn't it be a bad idea to time the launch of the refreshed Tiago close on the heels of the Altroz? Considering the Tiago will be much cheaper than the Altroz. Won't the cross shopping in the same showroom affect sales of the bigger Altroz? Agreed the i10 Nios/i20 and Swift/Baleno share the same engines but the launches have not coincided/followed in such close succession AFAIK. Altroz would be bigger, more feature rich, more roomier, will have tougher and lighter platform underneath and is from segment above. So I don't see much of the cross shopping happening here. and even if it happens, it is good that customer remains with Tata, instead of going to any other manufacturer. I would rather say, up-selling would happen and which would work much better in favor of Altroz. Some might prefer entry level / mid spec Altroz over top spec Tiago, but that would be too limited crowd. For Diesel engine, now Altroz will be the ONLY CHEAPEST option from TML. | |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Looks like BS 6 is going to be a dampener for the Indian market and couldn't have come at a worse time, already the market is at an all time low and coupled with this the cost escalation of BS 6 models going to be a double whammy. According to ACI, I quote: While prices for the facelifted Tata Tiago and Tigor are expected to go up by a fair bit, prices for the Nexon are set to go up by a big margin – the petrol version is expected to be Rs 60,000-90,000 more expensive while the Nexon diesel is set to become pricier by up to Rs 1.4 lakh. Presently, Tata Nexon prices start at Rs 6.7 lakh for the petrol XE and go up to Rs 11.4 lakh for the diesel XZA+: (Source ACI) https://www.autocarindia.com/car-new...evealed-415577 |

| ![]() In the launch video, the Tiago presentation slide shows Android Auto/Apple carplay reverse camera assist. at 41:05 Does this mean they have added reverse camera now in this Tiago facelift? The same one is shown in Tigor facelift slide as well which already has reverse camera, so I am not able to infer if this is a new camera feature added in Tiago facelift or not. |

| ![]() Someone at their design team surely is on fire! Looks better than the older cars, except maybe for the ugly ORVMs. Front end now resembles the Honda Amaze, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. |
