Maruti Alto BS6 CNG variants priced from Rs. 4.33 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the S-CNG trim of the Alto. It is Maruti's first BS6 compliant CNG model. The car is available in two variants LXi and LXi (O) priced at Rs. 4,32,700 and Rs. 4,36,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

The Alto S-CNG is powered by a 796cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 40 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 60 Nm @ 3,500 rpm. Running on petrol, this engine makes 47 BHP and 69 Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The car is equipped with dual interdependent ECUs and injection system. Maruti claims that the CNG powered Alto BS6 offers a fuel-efficiency of 31.59 km/kg.
