Well... it would have been very silent, and they would have not felt any vibrations.

Re: The BS6 Tata Harrier with 6-speed AT. EDIT: Launched @ 13.69 lakhs

I spoke with the Tata dealer again today regarding the availability of the TD car. She told me that car is in their stockyard, but they have not started TDs due to BS6 fuel availability or could it be that Adblue has not been made available yet as she said BS6 oil and not fuel exactly. Dont know whether to believe this, I told her that Kia Seltos has been running since July and she told me that the dealers also told the same thing to Tata Motors and they will start TDs in a couple of days.

Adblue is being used in HMVs since BS4 kicked-in, so it not being available can't be true and AFAIK Adblue will be filled at the factory before it rolls out the floor just like other fluids so if the car is at the stockyard, it can't be without Adblue. Getting BS6 diesel is the main problem.

Strange, I have been running the same engine albeit on the Compass Trailhawk for 6 months/10500 KMs on BS IV fuel. Don't have an issue so far, wonder why Tata is hesitant to run their cars on the current fuel?

Wow! Tata really knows how to kill a car!

I came back to this thread after almost a week, hoping to read several pages worth of BHPians' driving impressions of the A/T, and new images, only to find a handful of posts about how no one has been able to lay their hands on the car yet.

Perhaps, Tata should re-launch the Harrier A/T, and call it Tata Unicorn.

Just got call from my dealer - looks like deliveries are starting now. I was offered a XZA but told them I will wait for an XZA+ DT.

Test drives to start in a couple of days!

Re: The BS6 Tata Harrier with 6-speed AT. EDIT: Launched @ 13.69 lakhs

Folks, please have some patience to get the TD. Let manufacturer decide what could be the effect of BS4 fuel on their BS6 cars. Everybody knows that being it TATA, even if one of the TD cars shows a small issue by using BS4 fuels, all are going to bash TATA. Again the word 'niggles' is going to be associated with Harrier. TATA knows it better than anybody. So, I feel like they are taking a safe stand. Since we are in a crucial phase of change, lets wait till manufacturer is comfortable to release their product.

Couldn't agree more with Sreejith V, the automobile sector is moving to uncharted territory, manufacturers like TATA are being careful with the process and ensuring the cars won't have any niggles like they had in pre-July 2019 models.

The test drive car hasnt reached the Cochin dealerships. However, they do have an idea about the expected on road pricing.

XZA : Rs 23 L (was told Rs 23.5 first)
XZA Plus : Rs 25.5 L

Test Drive car is available at the Borivali East dealership starting today. I believe other dealerships in Mumbai should have received the test drive vehicle as well. The on road price for XZA+ is around Rs. 24.4 L and XZ+ is around Rs.23 L.

The on road price will vary from state to state defending in the taxes. Isn’t it?

It is around 25.6 or 25.7 for the XZA+ in Bangalore

Can't help but get the feeling that it is slightly overpriced. Remember that as lovely as this car is, it is still a 5 seater and unlike the XUV500 it does not have a 'short distance' third row either.

It is somewhere in between the Compass on one side with the XUV500 and the Hector on the other. Can get confusing for people looking for any of these three.

Anyway personally, if I am one of those people right now, I will go for the Harrier for its sheer looks and imposing stance!.
