Tata has started accepting online bookings for the new Tata Harrier lineup including the much awaited automatic variant, on their website. According to the online booking page, the new Tata Harrier is available in 3 Automatic and 5 Manual variants. These are available in 3 color schemes for selected variants which includes the Dual Tone and the Dark editions which further makes it 16 versions in total.

Automatic Variants:

XZA Dark Edition
XZA+
XZA+ Dual Tone
XZA+ Dark Edition

Manual Variants:
XE

As apparent from the booking page, Tata has dropped the Orange color (Calisto Copper) which was the flagship version of the first gen Harrier. The newly introduced Calypso Red shade appears to be the star of the Harrier BS6 line up. The Orcus White and Telesto Grey shades from the previous version are retained along with the addition of a new Sparkle Cocoa shade. The new Calypso Red and Orcus White shades are available in Dual Tone theme with a blackened roof in the top two variants. Apart from these the Harrier Dark Edition is available in the top end XZ & XZ+ trims of the Manual and XZA & XZA+ trims of the Automatic variants.

I liked the simple alloys on the existing model too, but the new ones definitely add to the looks. Is the 6-speed AT the same box as the Hexa?

No, it is from Hyundai. Hexa AT box is from GM-Punch Powerglide.

This should have been the launch vehicle. Never the less good to see they finally brought in the 170PS version and the TC box. And ofcourse that panoramic sunroof should be good enough to pull more crowd. Did anyone notice the ORVM? Looks like this one's smaller than the previous model. Customer feedback addressed?:)

This car looks so awesome in flesh. Hope even the sales numbers get equally awesome :thumbs up

Better late than never. They were forced by the competition to bring out these changes, which would have been there from the launch itself. From the snaps, i think the usb port has been made more accessible now. Its a good sign that they are listening to the criticism. Only grey area is the poor loyal customers who bought the pre updated version. They should be given an option to upgrade to the new version.

Any clue if the manuals be offered in the 170 HP guise ?

Jokes apart, looks like a worthy upgrade from Tata. Now only time will tell whether it has been worth waiting for

I can't recollect the last time a manufacturer has responded to almost every concern raised in our forum. This is wonderful to see. Need to see how the Automatic will effect the sales. There has been a lot of speculation about TATA missing out by its delay. Looking forward to seeing the real difference in sales numbers. The Hexa Auto was amazing to drive, any idea about this Hyundai sourced one? How much will the cost go up especially when Jeep is lurking around at a slightly high bracket.

Tata motors have come up with the improvements based on customers feedback pretty quickly. New version appears to be a very capable and desirable vehicle. If I am right the size of orvms looks quite big even in this version.

This is the car that should have launched. I feel sad for all the beta testers of the launch car. The 170hp engine is THE major factor not to mention all the additions plus auto transmission, features matching its looks. If i had not bought the Kodiaq this Dark edition would have been the one.

Great efforts from Tata clap: Dual tone red color looks fantastic, but not sure if it looks as stylish as the dark edition.
