Skoda showed its entire range of cars at the Auto Expo.

Here's a look at the Skoda Pavilion:

Skoda Vision IN concept

The highlight of the Skoda Pavillion was it's Vision IN concept. This will be the first Compact crossover from Skoda as part of it's "India 2.0" strategy. It will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform developed for India.

Among the cars displayed was one of the most eagerly awaited enthusiasts' cars - the Octavia RS 245. Only 200 units are available in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 35,99,599 each:


2.0L turbocharged petrol engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission and produces 242 BHP and 370 Nm:


Quadra LED headlights with Adaptive Frontlight System, and LED DRLs:


Black grille with vertical slats and vRS logo:


Race Blue colour suits a car this fast. 0-100 km/h - 6.6 seconds. Top speed - 250 km/h (electronically limited):

Skoda also showed the Superb and Kodiaq with 2.0L TSI engines. Both these are expected second half of the year.

Kodiaq L&K in Lava Blue. Features include full LED headlamps with AFS, LED DRLs and LED tail lights. This was UK spec car and had some features extra and missing vs what we get in India:


Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine that develops 187 BHP and 320 Nm. Rides on Sirius 19-inch anthracite alloy wheels (wheels won't make it to India):


Stone beige leather seats:


The Superb Sportline in Velvet Red. Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. 187 BHP, 400 Nm. Top speed = 240 km/h:

Skoda Rapid BS6 1.0L TSI

Skoda unveiled the Rapid BS6 at the Auto Expo 2020. The Rapid BS6 will only be available only with a 1.0L, 3-cylinder, TSI turbocharged petrol engine. There will no longer be a diesel option. The 1.0L TSI is expected to produce 113 BHP & 200 Nm. The engine will be mated to a new 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Skoda will be dropping the DSG from the Rapid.

Skoda Karoq 1.5L TSI

Skoda also unveiled the Karoq. The Karoq is expected in April and will come as a fully built up unit (CBU). It will be available with a 1.5L TSI turbo petrol engine mated to a 7 speed DSG that produces 148 BHP of power and 250 Nm torque.

Expected a bit more from Skoda this year considering that they were supposed to lead India 2.0 for the Volkswagen group.

Octavia RS245 carries optimistic pricing, Vision IN seems far from production and their heavy hitters are crippled by the lack of diesel options.

Will be a tough run for Skoda at least till the next year, when the actual production car from the Vision concept may be launched.

Why is the Karoq missing from the Skoda stall? Wasn't it launched at the Auto Expo?

The new Superb has a plug-in hybrid version as well. I guess Skoda will be skipping it for India as it has not been showcased.

It was first launched in India in October 2018 with a price tag of Rs. 28.99 Lakhs.
The last batch was sold for Rs. 25.99 Lakhs in July 2019, due to low sales.

The Karoq was on display at the auto expo 2020.If you look in the above rapid pics, you can spot it.But there was no mention of the Karoq.
