Le Fil Rouge concept was showcased. According to Hyundai, it is the reinterpretation of the Korean carmaker's design language:


The cascade grille is unmistakably Hyundai:

3-cylinder turbo charged petrol engine from the Venue and the Aura. This car has the potential to satisfy the enthusiasts and fill the void left by the JTP twins, Baleno RS and the Abarth Punto:


This engine produces 99 BHP /118 BHP and 172 Nm in the Aura and Venue respectively:

Nexo Fuel cell was the other highlight of the Hyundai pavilion:


This fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) is very 'car-like' in design and appeal:


Balanced proportions, silver roof rails and black cladding gives cred to this SUV:


The Nexo looks completely like a regular car - more so as customers are skeptical to adopt new technologies:


Rear gets triangular LED tail lights and a floating roof type design for the D-pillar:


Front is dominated by a grille with wavy mesh. Slim driving lights sit at the top while the headlights get a triangular housing down below:

Hyundai RM 19 Racing Midship Sports Car Prototype was also on show:


Based on the mid-engined Veloster, the prototype could be one of the future halo products for the Hyundai's N line-up:

Elevate, also called as the Ultimate Mobility Vehicle by Hyundai, was showcased:


It is a robot + car that can take advantage of a greater mobility compared to current 4x4 vehicles:


It was conceptualized based on the need for rapid disaster assistance. The Elevate can traverse debris and enable first responders to reach the rescue site quickly:




Each robotic leg has 5 degrees of freedom and Elevate can do both mammalian and reptilian walking gaits:


When driving on highways, the legs retract to give it a car like stance:


The legs can also help in transportation of mobility challenged people, which don't have access to a ramp:

Kite electric concept is a two-seat dune buggy that converts into a single-seater jet ski:


It gets large knobby tyres and a boat-hull profile at the bottom:


The Kite was created by 15 Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) transportation design master’s course students in cooperation with Hyundai Design Centre Europe:

Hyundai highlights the scooter as a last mile connectivity option. When kept in the car, it will charge:

Apart from the cars on display, Hyundai had a separate game / entertainment area:

Looking forward to the i10 Nios Turbo. Looks production ready and borrows generously from the Aura Turbo parts bin.

Will be having well over 100 hp/ton and good fun going by the Aura Turbo. Hope they work on the suspension and steering as well to match the engine - which along with the looks, is a let down in the Aura.

Yawn! Weird designs, some future tech which I am not sure will ever make it to our shores! After seeing the TATA stall and all the product offerings, Hyundai stall looks so bland!
