The colors and pictures of the Chinese version seems to be different than Indian version.
Although i thought the design is quirky, it is actually growing in taste.

The rear three quarters in Red color looks stunning, modern and also different. The all black and red interiors is WOW.

Paddle shifters are not a very great feature to have, trust me. I had a Pajero Sport AT for a week and only once did I use paddle-shifters in MT mode and didn't find much difference. You can live without those. I may differ from others here but I think if the engine is reasonably powered, paddles are superfluous. Also defeats the purpose of having an AT. Just slot into D and forget about the transmission.

But the panoramic sunroof? Now that is really a cool feature to have. Beats the hell out of every other non-essential feature, IMO. Hope Seltos gets this in their facelift which, looking at how aggressive they are, won't be far away. As for new Creta it seems to look good only in black. Actually black masks the curviness and also with those chrome accents, it looks like mini-Palisade. Black is the one you should go for.

Visited the Hyundai showroom on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru today. They claimed that they will get a demo car on 10 March, and detailed pricing on 17th March. He says they were told that the base model would be at 13L OTR, and delivery will start in mid-April for bookings today, based on the current number of pre-bookings.

What are the dimensions of Creta? Certainly looks taller than Seltos. From front the design is more of evolution which is a good thing. Most will easily recognize this as Creta without looking at the badge.

Is this base price for the petrol or diesel model? If for diesel, Kia and Hyundai will be bang in the same price range!

It has now come to a point where a bumper is anything but a bumper.

I like the iteration. It looks quite sophisticated compared to the earlier version.

Though the ix25 looks put me off initially, I have now come to love the Creta in pictures. Hyundai has really managed to differentiate it from the Seltos which was essential. I feel it looks more upmarket than the Seltos.

The interiors are also wow. Especially the screen integration. It is much better than the Seltos and the 10 inch screen looks great on the center console. It's altogether a great package from Hyundai and even the sport interiors on the turbo petrol strikes the right notes.

For the pure butch look there is little to beat the Harrier but for the city going SUV the Creta seems to be back.

Plastic's on the sides seem to be a weakness because I have seen the same on Nexon often worn down or discoloured or scratches. Still prefer my car with as less plastic as possible outside.

A matt black wrap should provide some redemption on that front. Though it initially put me off as well, it also seems to depend on the color. It looks better on the white and silver variants.

Very strange looks. The black looks much nicer actually though because it hides most of the weird creases and cuts.

Interiors are modern but on par with Seltos.
