475 litres 2019 Creta
433 litres 2020 Creta
=
Difference of 42 litres

Silver panel isn't available in dual tone variants.

I thought the earlier generation had a boot space of 400 litres

Oddly Hyundai doesn't list boot space on the outgoing Creta brochure I have. Some websites say 400l, some 402l and other 475. I think logically it makes sense that the new bigger Creta has more boot space than the smaller outgoing one.

Re: 2nd-Gen Hyundai Creta @ Auto Expo 2020. Edit: Launched at 9.99 lakhs

Took delivery of my hyundai creta E variant CRDI polar white.
Dealership pushed me to take insurance inhouse, I flatly refused. It was listed at 55k for bumper to bumper zero depreciation. I was getting a quote of 29.5k on policy bazar. He tried his best and came up with revised quote of 33k. I took it. I could choose warranty from three options 1) 3 yrs/unlimited kms 2) 4 yrs/60k kms 3) 5 yrs/50 k kms. I opted for 4/60k kms.

Overall smooth experience at Blue Hyundai, mysore road, Bangalore.

Attaching some pictures.
White fabric seat is going to be a nightmare to maintain.
I don't like art leather since does not breathe. Have heard about elegant fabric seats; look good. Does anyone have experience using them?

Congratulations on your new purchase!
I would recommend not opting for a cloth material when it comes to covers. Spillage and stains will be a nightmare to clean. You can opt for a leather or an artificial leather seat cover. Suggest you to get it tailored for perfect fit and finish. The main benefit is that you can just wipe off any food particle of liquid that is spilled in the car. Easy to maintain and hassle free unlike fabric (due to its soaking nature).

Happy safe driving!

Re: 2nd-Gen Hyundai Creta @ Auto Expo 2020. Edit: Launched at 9.99 lakhs

Anyone know if functional roof rails are an accessory offered on the base models? The car looks very hatchback-ish without the roof rails, also the roof rails may be needed for an occasional trip out of town where some equipment or extra luggage may need to be carried.

Hyundai does not seem to publish an accessory list as part of the brochure unlike VW and Ford. If anyone has access to the accessory list with prices and could upload, would be much appreciated.

I dont think the roof rails are as functional as you have intended in the post. When my SA brought home a new Creta SX for the testdrive, I remember seeing a warning message on the roof rails (towards the back end) that said do not load anything on it. I think its just there for aesthetic purposes.
On second thought, I am not quite sure about this and will be happy to be proved wrong. Do check out again with your SA.

I do use light load on my roof rails. I have also fitted Hyundai Cross bars and cycle rack on these roof rails. I have also used this to transfer plywood, ladders and few light loads. So the OE roof rail should care of light loads.

The functional ones were only offered in pre-facelift first generation models after that the subsequent ones have the aesthetic ones only so I think there is going to be no accessory for functional roof-rails with the dealer.

You can try after-market options though but they are risky as most of them are installed using double-sided tapes instead of drilling holes in the roof.

Hope this is useful to you.

Got these alloy wheels installed at Madhu's tire care.
Madhu's is owned by our team bhp member Nikhil.

Got the best deal for the alloys. Boys were very knowledgeable, they knew about TMPS system installed in the stock steel rims. They moved them to alloys seamlessly.
