hey adya u cn do tht but it is not recomended however now there are a lot of cars which come with Tiptronic wher u can do tht..in case of accord even if you do tht you need to be absolutely perfect as to when u shift the gears only then maybe you can beat the rs but one thing the best to do for an accord is hold on to the brakes and once you want to shoot just release the brakes and floor the accelarator but it is important that you keep the traction control off while doing this as because of the traction control you loose a lot of speed...

that doesnt work man ..the gear ratios are still the same ..
tiptronics however are better ..but you cant really red line them either because it will shift up a bit earlier than you would want it to ...

TCS should be switched off because the car will dig for a moment before it takes off .. handbrakes always work !

8 kmpl is a bit too optimistic coming from an auto v6 ...might wanna check on that .. thats wat the honda guy told us ..i am sure it give aorund 6 in he city

Can you explain this please. IMHO you will gain speed as the wheels wont spin in your car and min wheel spin = max acceleration

Understood the power of both the cars but which is a better car in terms of 2 things
a) After sales service which company is more reliable and prompt .
b) What kind of mileage do they give a comparison figure .
c) Spex are there both are great but which is more sturdy .

Has to be the Accord 2.4 Wonderful machine with Honda back up and that luxury feel it gives. Plus it will keep up with the RS in style!
