it works if u copy-paste the link in another window.

It works on ur comp cos u have already viewed the pics on the Webshots page. Its actually showin u the pics from the Temp folder. Webshots does not display the pics.

Hey guys,

Dippy - "get her up and going dude restore her." * Dude, she works... but she is slowly dying. The engine is just gone now. We have probably spent more money on repairing this car than on buying it! The first year we got her...i kid you not she got banged 12 times in 12months. No jokes..and not just scratches...major bodywork. about 7 times by my driver, including the time he banged it while taking it to the workshop for repairs on a previos bangup he had created. anyway he works for us no more. Like 2 times by my dad, wasnt his fault, and 2 times while it was parked!!! and the other one time...well...by...ummm.. me, it had just come back from the garage after some engine work and as u can see the parking space is on a slope, and i was reversing in and was about 2inches away from the trash can on the side and shifted from R to D and the engine stalled (automatic so not my fault) and the brake booster lost power and the car rolled back and got scraped :'-(
Anyway..back to the point, we put in a new tranny, new carb, 4 new disc rotors, 8new pads, new tires -certis, plenty of sets of new headlamp assemblys (accidents), its all frightfully expensive.....and the final question is do we do a heart transplant... but too expensive and i donno if the *body and auxhilary systems will make the new engine worth it. I love her though.

aadix - "honda city mags on your accent?" dyu mean the ones that honda charges 50k for? lol no! ;-]

N_C - ikon 13"inchers..nahh...didnt really like those alloys.

rtech - neo wheels.. umm no... i wanted to get neo (desi&good quality + not too expensive + warranty) but there were no designs in 14" that i liked ....
also dude...dont post pics directly from webshots (wont show on the tbhp page unless its aldready in your comp's cache) do it the right way.

and to answer the alloy question -
i have the hypersilver finished 14" versions of what are most popularly known as the BSA282, wrapped in 185 michelin MXF sport.

my dream alloys are the 12spoke variation of the League LG065, but they are only avail in 15" and the offset does not suit the accent's offset.

sorry for the long post but i guess thats what happens when one of us is asked a question about stuff like this that is even closer to our hearts due to ownership ;-]

cheers
Rehaan

The shot of the Skoda was taken near Khapoli. You exit at khapoli from the expressway, go over the overpass and turn left towards penn. Amazing road to drive on! Hardly any traffic (both vehicular and animal) and decent road surface. Nicely cambered corners too. Easily average about 85-90 without really trying!

Hey rtech have u "painted" the wheels and the spokes?? And what abt the ylinders ?? The paint doesnt peel of bcos of the heat??
Anyways the full black bike does look good. What other mods have u done to it??
other than the clip-ons, fatter tyres.

Hey V12

The pulsar's wheels, frame, swingarm, valve cover, all the red bits, have been powder coated. The engine is painted with heat resistant paint. No probs about it peeling coz of the heat, although the darn pressure wash caused some peeling during one of the "free" services! Anyways, the darn thing is leaking fromt he blocjk now so i gotto take it into the shop for them to fix one of these days, and i'm sure its gonna come back with half the paint missing, so I'll retouch it after that.

The rear tyre is the standard 100/18, the black wheels give it the effect of looking fatter though. Though i now have a 120/90 Duro fitted, which is much better than the MRF zapper.

Besides the clip-ons, which really improve front end grip and feel, I have also got uprated springs and oil in the forks. Everything else is unchanged though as I don't wanna violate the warranty (knowing bajaj quality!!). Only thing done is richen up the air/fuel mixture as it runs too lean as stock.

ciao

My grandfather had a green Ford Zephyr Mk III from the 60s. Wonderful car. Which is your model?
For all those who have no idea about what a Ford Zephyr is, here's a website you can have a look at.
