Well for me it is the Honda City ZX with Vtec engine. This car complies with almost all requirements of city driving especially in Kolkata. Superb Manuverability, Comfortable Ride at both front & Back Seat, Easy to park as it is not as big as Accord or similar cars, Mileage is decent for the car specs, maintanance is not as expensive as its' big brothers like accord or civic. Overall it is a neat package and seems to be a very practical car perfectly living upto its name - 'CITY'

I think the time has come to end this thread. This poll was started 3 years ago, and a lot has changed since then.

On second though, not that much has changed!
- The Octavia still sells in it's original guise.
- The Accord received a minor rump lift
- The City remains the same
- Forester is no longer sold after being a failure in the market
- Optra sells well and now finally has the long awaited Diesel. Why they waited for so long is beyond me!
- Scorpio received a face lift, engine change, reworked suspension.
- The CRV is the only car here that has changed over to a new model completely, but that's only due to the fact that it is a CBU.

Honda CRV for me anytime. The rush that I have after driving it is just too tempting. I have a huge build and was very comfortable in the rear seat as well. Honda name, reliability added to it. I am more of a SUV kind.

I chose the Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI because:

1.It's a good car to drive.
2.It looks good.
3.It's safe.
4.It has good build quality.
4.and it's a DIESEL.

Honda Accord from the above list, but if not restrited to the above then it would have to be the BMW 7 Series. I don't know why I just love the BMW 7 Series.

BMW 7 series it has to be for me, what presence the car has got, simply overpowering, love the wheels and looks amazing in black.

Is this 3+ year old poll relevant anymore ? IMO this one should be closed and if required a new one started with the vehicles currently in the market.

Since these options were given, the Laura has been launched, the Forrester is no more, Optra Magnum is in the picture, City ZX has been launched, new CR-V is in .....
