Jokes apart, accord is one of the ultimate machine on indian land today.... The 3.0 litre V6 leads the class in smoothness and quietness, and overall the Accord is as refined as many luxury cars which cost much more.. So... my choice will b Accord, Accord and... Accord.

You betcha, If I was looking for a D segment car today, I would go for the Accord. The only tough part would be deciding between a MANUAL 4 cylinder or the AUTO V6.

Its luxurious, powerful, honda maintenance (only 9500 for a 4 year unlimited mileage warranty) and will last forever.

Especially with the way they have got the pricing right, is it any surprise that there is a 9 month waiting on this car. And the fact that the Camrys and Mondeos are designated to such pitiful sales figures.

Whew........... Didn`t knew that ... well i don`t think the things were same around a year ago when we had accord in mine sis`s marriage.

The only problem i had was of color.... "Golden" with automatic transmission very hard to find in delhi. Else, the we got the car in within 1 week.

I even spoke to Honda Offcials.. regarding this stuff..... But see what i landed up a golden Automatic with 2 yrs extra warranty.

This is what i call a DEAL !!!!

Well the scene is this

camry - great discount - big bum, sorry boot = hotel taxi under EPCG scheme
Accord - great value, techhnology, space looks, everything....may be not RWD but am nit picking
Mondeo - could have been a great car but has the cinderella effect - after 12 (thousand km) = kaput = also meant for nice roads - makes a great second hand occasional second car - euro fleet car meant to have a finite life
Vectra - solid - stolid - looks smart - but it is like a big astra - another euro fleet car
Sonata- looks like a rat with a gold tooth
Merc - shame about the pricing and power but wow about everything else

a friend of mine has just got himself an accord v6 and put a mugen body kit, exhaust, 17" wheels, air filter and few more bits on it. ecu which came with the mugen kit had to be sent back for some re-programming (for the engine immobiliser). will post pics and review of the test drive soon!
pity the V6 is an auto!

I chose the skoda,

its got good power n pickup, n amazing fuel economy n that counts .... especially when u go tank up...i feel so happy filling up my crdi @ rs. 30.68 compared to arnd rs. 42 for petrol.

I know the back seats are cramped, but i wont be sitting in the rear....so rear comfort be damned....this is the car for me.
hehehe *

City CVT for me if I had only one car and lived in Mumbai.
reasons: big enough to offer some comfort, small enough to park most anywhere. besides I have a personal bias towards the PIV/CVT tranny.

Has to be the Accord.I believe its the ultimate luxury car.Though i do like the Skoda and its solid built, but it lacks power and comfort IMHO.
Gotcha be the Accord in this case.
