Infractions: 0/1 (4) | ![]() Was planning to buy an Ertiga in 21-22 and was also considering the 7 seater version of Creta as a better alternative. But the safety rating of Seltos made me seriously wonder if it would be worth the premium over Ertiga. Teambhp members' inputs on this would be highly appreciated. Also if any other 7 seater in the same price bracket should be worth considering? I'm a bit scared of Mahindra's niggles and ASS. |

| ![]() Scoop! 7-Seater Hyundai Creta spied testing in India The 7-seater Hyundai Creta has been spotted testing in India for the first time. ![]() The 7-seat version of the Creta appears to be longer than the 5-seater that is on sale in India. The SUV looks similar up to the C-pillars, beyond which it has been extended to accommodate the third row of seats. The SUV gets a unique rear fascia and features a completely different tail lamp design. ![]() Other spy images have partially revealed the car's front end, which feature headlamps that look similar to the 5-seater Creta. However, it has a unique grille design. The SUV also gets front parking sensors, roof rails and twin exhausts. ![]() At present, the 5-seater Creta is offered with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options along with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic, CVT and a 7-speed DCT which is only offered with the turbo petrol engine. Thanks to Avinash Ramesh for sending these images in. Heartfelt gratitude for sharing them with other enthusiasts via this Team-BHP page! |

| ![]() Eyes closed, I can say Gravitas will again face the same heat as it’s junior Harrier is facing with Creta already, if Tata isn’t making any changes to the feature list. This big Creta looks a lot better from the rear and as a proper SUV. Oh, I forgot XUV500 is also around the corner. Basically, this segment is going to be the most talked in the coming days. Great to see this Alcazar get a proper high-mounted stop lamp! ![]() I also hope the rear bumper of the Alcazar is beefier and protrudes out by a good amount compared to the one on Creta. Last edited by RSR : 13th December 2020 at 20:46. | |

| ![]() Interesting - I thought the Hyundai's competitor to the Suzuki Ertiga was in the pipeline for 2021. Going by the pricing of the current model, this car is going to rival Innova Crysta. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Interesting. Is it just me or do those wheels and tyres also look bigger and chunkier? With the Korean brothers firmly on the top 3 list, I guess they're looking for a share of the "anything high riding" pie no matter what segment it's in. Creta's established reputation of refinement, quality and a laudable feature checklist should really give this "new" launch an enviable pre-boost. Mahindra will have to pull out all the stops for their XUV5OO to continue being the go-to choice in the 7 seat crossover segment. Mahindra's amazing 2.2L diesel is its biggest selling point for me and I wonder what powertrain changes Hyundai would be willing to make to ensure people don't feel shortchanged (and BHP-ians dramatically fuming about the high crime of being underpowered ![]() |

| ![]() PALIOS - A weird amalgamation of palisade, seltos and erstwhile palio, doesn't sound catchy enough. Quote:
