The Jeep Compass 2022 will abandon the TigerShark Flex 2.0 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. In place will enter the engine 1.3 Firefly Turbo with estimated power of 180 hp and torque around 29 kgfm. The engine will start the CVT automatic transmission provided by Aisin.

The CVT gear shift will be the Direct Shift that counts on the first gear shift as a conventional automatic gearbox, the other simulated gears may vary according to the engine in which the transmission is switched on. Provided by Aisin, the transmission simulates ten speeds in the Toyota Corolla, but this will depend on the calibration that will be used by the FCA for its models.

- The new Compass is expected to appear with 1.3 Firefly T4 flex with power between 150 hp and 180 hp, which should equip the intermediate and top-of-the-line versions with front-wheel drive.

-The gearbox will be automatic 6-speed on the 1.0 turbo and 9-speed on 1.3

a new multimedia center and the design of the front panel. Driving assistance controls, such as track maintenance and active speed controller, will be available from intermediate configurations

The Jeep Compass facelift has been spotted testing once again. This particular test mule is equipped with black multi-spoke alloy wheels and has dual exhausts.



The Compass will get a few cosmetic changes. However, little seems to have changed when it comes to the rear fascia. The tail lamps appear similar in shape and just like the current model, the car has a pair of reflectors mounted on the rear bumper.

Spy images suggest that the updated Compass will get a redesigned interior with a larger touchscreen infotainment head-unit and piano black trim. It also gets a new steering wheel and the climate control buttons appear to have been repositioned.

In the international market, the Compass gets a new 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine along with a plug-in hybrid version. In India, Jeep will continue to offer the 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel that produces 170 BHP and 350 Nm and the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 161 BHP and 250 Nm.

The new set of alloys add character to the car and dual tip exhausts looks sweets. Compass is absolutely a looker for sure with that juicy 2L diesel. Harrier & Compass surely has that meat of a true SUV characters. Hope the new one goes in favor of sales charts for compass

Pretty sure it won't make much of a difference thanks to it's ridiculous pricing and the lazy attitude of JEEP.

Jeep should have invested in developing the 1.6 Multijet diesel in India, introduced it in the Compass, and offer at least more engine options in a market where diesels mills are quite few now. This would have helped the brand overcome the ridiculous price-tag reputation, position the Compass in a wider price range and catch some of the buyers of Duster, Creta, etc. Moreover, there could be other manufacturers also to take their 1.6 diesel mill in more number.

The door handles are not in flush with the body. So probably not the new XUV. Compass facelift maybe?

You are right, its the Compass facelift.

2022 Jeep Compass spied again, shows its LED Lights and its new floating multimedia.

On the panel, the instrument frame is the only detail that does not change and will keep the 7" TFT screen in the center being paneled with analog dials. Elsewhere everything will be new, the panel will be floating and only the cover will be with rubberized material and at its ends will have two air vents.

Just below the panel cover, a bar will divide the panel into two parts and at its ends will be the air vents.

The continuation of the panel will be in smooth rigid plastic and in the center will be housed the multimedia center of the floating type and below will be the central air vents. The air conditioning controls are still on the center console.

Jeep Compass 2022 door liners will also receive new designs and the seats will retain the current formats by receiving only new fabrics
